| Gas related products and Electrical Porcelain shapes have been manufactured at our factory in Longton for many years. In 1998 Ceramic Gas Products was formed with a corporate policy to concentrate on the design, development and manufacture of ceramics for the gas industry. Although we have the facilities to manufacture pressed electrical porcelain our complete focus is on the needs of the gas fire industry.
Our range of manufacturing methods gives us a unique standing in the industry. We have four main product groups namely: Vacuumed Formed Fibre, Slip Cast Ceramics, Gas Fire Radiant's and Electrical Porcelain. With this variety of techniques we can meet all the requirements of the gas fire industry.
Although shapes are usually developed and produced to customers own specifications we can offer a range of standard products which includes coals, pebbles, logs, driftwood and firebacks. We also have an expanding range of special shapes that allows the fire designer to develop a scenic theme such as ‘sea shore’ or a ‘forest floor’ or a ‘ship wreck’.
We offer a complete development service including an initial design, model making, tool design and in house tool manufacture, pre production runs and full time production. |
